Graskop
Graskop is located in the heart of the Mpumalanga Escarpment - one of the most scenic tourist regions in South Africa. Several magnificent waterfalls can be found near Graskop, including Lisbon Falls, Mac Mac Falls, and the Berlin Falls.
Activities near Graskop include the Big Swing across the Graskop Gorge. There is also a foefie slide (zip slide) across the gorge. And if that's not enough to take your breath away, try abseiling alongside Sabie Waterfall.
All roads from Graskop lead somewhere magic in Mpumalanga. Venturing north from Graskop finds you feeling small and insignificant as you gaze from God's Window onto the endless savannah of the lowveld. A little further north is Blyde River Canyon, a majestic sight, and more awe-inspiring evidence of God's handiwork.
Step west, back in time, to the romantic gold rush atmosphere of the 1880s. The quaint historical village of Pilgrim's Rest is a living museum reflecting the colourful lives of the hard playing men and women of the period.
South finds you in stunningly scenic Sabie with its mountainous backdrop and thundering waterfall.
East of Graskop leads you down the spectacular Kowyn's Pass to the Lowveld and The Kruger National Park.
