Ugie

Tucked away at the foot or the majestic backdrop of the Drakensberg, between the towns of Maclear and Elliot, is the small picturesque village of Ugie.

In the village you can find the Ugie Tractor Museum, a collection of old farming machines and implements. Some of the world's finest rock art can be found in caves in the local mountains, one of which, the Gatberg, has a large hole in its summit. There is also some excellent trout fishing near Ugie.
