Westbrook Beach is a small growing community situated on the KwaZulu-Natal north coast between Ballito and La Mercy. The area is ideally placed for the nearby retail centres of Gateway and La Lucia Mall and ten minutes drive from Ballito, just a few kilometres to the north.

The beach here is ideal for swimming, and there are frequent visits from dolphins and whales. Once a year the 32 km International ARB Surf Ski World Cup race to Durban's Bay of Plenty starts at Westbrook Beach. Westbrook is currently awaiting acceptance for the renowned Blue Flag internationally accepted award for beach cleanliness. The closest "large centre" to Westbrook is Umhlanga, about 30 minutes drive along the coast to the south. Umhlanga is an extremely popular resort that was once just a coastal dune forest.
