Port o'Palm Beach to the South. Low-lying rocks directly in front of the park provide excellent spots for Bream and Rock-Cod fishing as well as for snorkelling. The main swimming beach to the left of the park is protected by shark nets with life guards on duty over weekends and during school holidays. Trafalgar is a popular swimming, surfing and fishing beach.
The park is well maintained with spotless ablutions providing ample hot water. Our sites are grassed, level and shady, all with electricity. Some of the sites have sea views which provide amazing vantage points during the dolphin and whale seasons. We cater for caravans, tents and motor homes. Depending on time of arrival, our staff members are available to assist with setting up. Roving security guards give peace of mind. A communal braai area adjoins the playroom which has table tennis tables, dart boards and a television. Outdoor activities include a trampoline, playground, swimming and paddling pool. Birds are in abundance while other wildlife includes Duiker, Bushbuck, Tree Dassies, Gennets and Mongoose. As a result of the threat to our wildlife we do not allow dogs. The shop is well stocked during the holiday season. A laundromat is operated by our staff.
Nearby attractions include four golf courses, (Southbroom, San Lameer, Port Edward and the Wild Coast). The closest crocodile farm may be found at Southbroom while kites are made at Windsong Kites which is situated in Marina Beach. Clearwater Trails in Port Edward provides mountain bike trails and is close to Beaver Creek Coffee Farm which has tours, bottomless coffee, coffee - liqueur tasting and delicious eats. These are in close proximity to the Crag's View Wildlife Sanctuary. MacBananas near Palm Beach is a farm stall with a difference, catering for a variety of tastes while browsing.
