Sheffield Beach overlooks secluded Sheffield Beach with panoramic views of the Indian Ocean. Beach gear is essential for refreshing swims, exploratory walks along the coved beaches, nosing in and around the rock pools, for collecting mussels or oysters or gathering lobsters along the rocky foreshore . Swim, snorkel, walk, tan, lounge or fish right there.

The Village is a secure complex where each unit is unique. The other two bedrooms (with single beds) have easy access to the second bathroom with shower and have views out to sea and indigenous bush. Each room has a fan to cool the hot humidity of the warm summer nights. The kitchen is well equipped with a gas/electric stove, fridge and freezer, dishwasher and basic microwave plus sufficient crockery and cutlery.

A satellite dish and TV are installed for visitor convenience (bring your DStv card). The balcony provides a reclusive place to tan and read while whale or dolphin watching in season - or to enjoy a braai in the Weber while the moon rises to the sound of the crashing surf directly below. No 36 is the penthouse suite of the complex, offering complete privacy. The apartment enjoys spectacular 180 degree sea views.

The Village is conveniently situated close to shopping facilities at Umhlali and Ballito. The Lifestyle Centre has a wide range of shops to suit most needs. The Gateway complex with shops, restaurants and cinemas is 30 minutes away. Theatre and musical events are often held at the Sibaya Casino. The Dolphin Coast offers numerous activities and action sport opportunities: dolphin or whaling sea trips, kite surfing and micro light flights for the adventurous.

The King Shaka Heritage route and the Chief Albert Luthuli Museum provide interesting cultural outings. Hluhluwe Game Reserve is an hour and half away up the north coast. The Village is ideally situated with proximity to several championship golf courses such as Zimbali, Princes' Grant and Umhlali. Fishing, mussel collecting, etc., require a valid license, some available at Umhlali Post Office.
