Sabaan Guest Farm and Event Venue

Sabaan - a family owned farm with its scenic view; the peace, quiet and tranquillity - is centrally situated between Hazyview and Sabie, ideal to visit the Panorama Route, waterfalls, Kruger National Park and many more. We have 22 fully equipped self-catering chalets, accommodating from 2-8 people, each with own braai and parking facility - sleeping up to 140 persons in total. Groups (eg schools, church, reunions) can be easily accommodated, and catering can also be done at our Lapa facilities, alternatively, you can rent the lapa and do your own catering/cleaning, or cleaning can be arranged. 2 km Gravel road to the resort, accessible to 1 axel busses only. All linen included, except bath and swimming towels, however, bath towels are available on request.

Some chalets are equipped with DSTV, and some with Openview, alternatively, you are welcome to bring along your own DSTV decoder (with power plug and connections). Internet facilities are available by arrangement.

Sabaan has a crystal clear swimming pool, snooker and table tennis, volley ball, and a kiddies play park with trampolines, a jungle gym, swings and a slide.

For larger family / school / church groups, a lapa with a fully equipped kitchen and braai facilities is available at an additional fee. Catering can be done by arrangement. There is no restaurant or tuck shop on the resort, but several excellent restaurants and shopping malls are nearby.

There are 3 entrance gates to the Kruger National Park within a 30 to 40 minutes drive from the resort, of which Phabeni Gate is only 35km from Sabaan. A choice of excellent golf courses are also available in the area.

On the Panorama Route, within easy reach, are several breathtaking waterfalls such as Lisbon Falls, Mac Mac, Bridal Veil, Horseshoe and many more. Also on the same route, is God's Window, Pilgrims Rest, Blyde River Canyon (3rd largest in the world), Sabie, Graskop, and the Bourke's Luck Potholes, the Kapama Cheetah breeding project and the Moholoholo Rehabilitation Centre for injured big cats, raptors, antelope, etc.

For the adventurous, Induna Adventures is only 7 km from our resort, with a zip line, white river rafting, archery, quads, abseiling, geckoing, paintball, and much more. In the area is die Big Swing and bridge jumps to get the adrenaline pumping, as well as hot air ballooning, the Sudwala caves, several hiking and mountain bike trails, to mention but a few. Chimp Eden outside Nelspruit is world renown for the rehabilitation of injured chimpanzees, well worth a visit.

This region is definitely going to keep you busy and entertained for days on end.
