The Beach House

Literally a pebble's throw away from one of the KZN South Coast's most popular beaches for fishing, diving and snorkelling, The Beach House is a modern oasis for the city weary.

The Beach House sleeps a maximum of 8 adults. Featuring four tastefully decorated bedrooms, all with magnificent beach and sea views. The main bedroom features a king size bed and en suite bathroom while the remaining bedrooms are served by two upmarket bathrooms. A queen bedroom, a double bedroom, a twin bedroom, double bunks and a double sleeper couch make up the remaining sleeping space.

Playing centre stage to this recently completed beachfront property is the open plan lounge, dining room and kitchen. Stacking doors completely open the area onto the sweeping veranda which is equipped with comfortable chairs from Bali, for lazy days by the plunge pool or gazing out to sea.

The modern and well-equipped kitchen features ample workspace, gas hobs, electric oven, microwave oven and two large fridge/freezer combinations for freshly caught fish from your very own slice of the Indian Ocean. The beach house has a live in maid on the premises and is serviced daily.

On rainy days keep busy with the large-screen TV boasting all DTSV channels in the TV lounge and main lounge or recline on the bed and watch your favourite TV programme in the privacy of the master bedroom. For the more adventurous, the ever-popular Oribi Gorge beckons some 25 kilometres away, or for the gamblers at heart, the Wild Coast Sun is only 50 km down the nearby highway.

Situated only 4 kilometres from the Port Shepstone Country Club and Golf Course, The Beach House offers access to a number of the South Coast's renowned golf course. Within easy driving distance, avid golfers or weekend hackers can find a golf course to suit their tastes at Southbroom, San Lameer, Port Edward or the Wild Coast Sun.

Feeling energetic? A brisk walk along the beach takes you to Southport Beach Restaurant. Right on the doorstep, Uncle Arthur's Petting Farm offers a farmer's market and craft market every Saturday, with delicious breakfast served in the open. The Sayidi Farm Stall is literally round the corner from The Beach House and offers a wide variety of fresh produce and a coffee shop which won't break the budget. For the mall addicts, you can fulfil your cravings at Shelly Centre or South Coast Mall, both within comfortable driving distance.
