Chateau Anri la Mer

Chateau Anri La Mer is a self catering home situated on the banks of the Swartvlei lagoon at the lovely town of Sedgefield in the heart of the Garden Route. Sedgefield has three lovely beaches and also offers safe swimming in the lagoon mouth where it enters the sea. The area is renowned for the mild weather. It lies between Wilderness and Knysna and a host of activities and attractions are available in the vicinity.

Chateau Anri La Mer has five bedrooms and sleeps eleven. It has three bathrooms, one of them en-suite to the main bedroom. All the bedrooms are on the first floor with excellent views over the Swartvlei. The house is very large and has a huge fully equipped kitchen.

We also use the house as a holiday home and it is therefore equipped to be an extremely comfortable home from home.

There is a television lounge on the first floor. On the ground floor is another large playroom-lounge, a dining room and the kitchen. The large house is ideal even for those very few days in a year where the weather is not the normal ideal weather of this area and the family may be forced to stay inside.

The outside lawn is large and ideal for keeping the active members occupied when they are not on the beach. In the garage is a stable two man Canoe that may used for paddling on the Swartvlei lake.

The house may be large, but especially out of season it is still ideal for only a couple and is ideal for a honeymoon breakaway.
