The beauty of this place/farm is that it is a holiday destination, because of its, unique site in a spacious typical Magazine style garden with outstanding features, walks, dams and pure nature.

We also offer outstanding hospitality that is difficult to match and this is the kind of place where one goes to get your head clear.

It is ideally en-route only a 110 km before the popular town of Rhodes where our only SA snow-ski resort, Ben MacDui is situated.

It is also in the vicinity of the unique town of Lady Grey where the Passion Play is offered by the Lady Grey Arts Academy every Easter weekend.

Features of the interior of the cottage:

Private entrance and stoep.

The cottage sleeps six and is perfect for a family.

It has a very homely feeling.

It is smartly decorated in a true "Lemon Tree" cottage style.

The upholstery, linen and flooring is of excellent quality.

All beds have electric blankets for the extreme cold night temperatures.

A fire place is in the main living room where firewood is provided.

The dining area is combined with the lounge cum living room.

The kitchen is fully equipped with modern facilities.

It also has a micro wave oven, stove, fridge and freezer.

It has two twin bedded rooms and one double bedroom.

There is one double bathroom close to the bedrooms and a second bathroom down a passage.

All bedding and towelling is brand new. I have used the high quality Lemon tree design quilts cushions, etc.

There is plenty of storage space.

There is enough space for business people, but no 3-g connection or Wi-fi. One kilometer away there is a signal.

A public landline is available,

Radio and DSTV are available.(no need for own card)
