Barra is situated at Barra Beach about 20 km from the tourism town of Inhambane and the airport.
Barra Palms (1) - 8 sleeper and Barra Palms (2)- 6 sleeper and Barra Palms (3) - 4 sleeper (one big bedroom), are built at the base of the main primary dune under a shady haven of palm trees with the beach about 60 meters away. The fully equipped chalets overlook the pool with their own braai area.
The access road from the main road to the hardcore parking area of the lodge is good so it is not a necessity to have a 4 x 4 vehicle.
Lalapanzi 2 – 4 sleeper and Lalapanzi 4 – 11 sleeper is just up the dune and 4 x 4 is required. Lalapanzi 2 and 4 are fully equipped with aircons with ensuite bathrooms and have there own swimming pools and braai area.
Equipment includes a fridge, deepfreeze, microwave, gas stove, kettle and utensils.
Rooms get serviced and linen is supplied but you must provide your own towels.
For those that prefer not to cook there are restaurants close by, the nearest being AndaCa Restaurant 100 meters away.
