How to get to us: Travel north from Durban on the N2. Take the
Hluhluwe Turn off and travel through Hluhluwe town. Follow the R22 north for 2
hours to the town of Manguzi. Just before the town turn right to the Manguzi
police station. Before the Police station turn left onto a dirt road D1843. Keep
left on this road for 7km until you see our sign on the left. Turn left at our
sign and follow the directional arrows for 1.5km. As you pass Lake Shengeza on
your right look out for our sign on the left.
Accommodation (max 10 persons) : Two comfortable rustic bush cottages set
amongst indigenous trees. One, three bedroom six sleeper, with fully fitted
kitchen and bathroom (shower). The other, a two bedroom log cabin with outside
bathroom (shower).
We have an enclosed entertainment deck with lounge, dining and bar area, as
well as an open deck, with braai area and a boma.
The lodge runs on solar (12 volt) and gas energy.
Your booking with Shengeza Lake Lodge is exclusively yours. You will have sole
use of the facilities and all activities offered during your period of stay.
Should you choose an activities package, you can look forward to the following:
late afternoon canoeing on the Siyadla River, a full day on our boat exploring
and/or fishing the three Kosi Lakes, a boat transfer and then a day on the beach
at Banga Neck, and a day at Kosi Mouth where you will snorkle in the "aquarium",
and enjoy the beauty of our paradise.
