Ekuthuleni Lodge at Royal Jozini

Self Catering House, Cottage, Chalet Accommodation in Lavumisa

At the end of their quiet bush road, Ekuthuleni Lodge is positioned in the nature reserve area of Royal Jozini Big 6, taking full advantage of the magnificent views of the Lebombo Mountains. Set in an area of bush favoured by Royal Jozini's family of giraffe who can often be seen browsing nearby, this bush lodge sleeps 8 people in four totally separate bedroom buildings, each room facing a different aspect of the mountains. The bedrooms all have an outdoor shower (but screened for the shy) and indoor bath en suite and each is positioned to take advantage of the cooling breeze that comes down the mountainside. Wake each morning as the sun rises (late) over the mountain tops to bathe the reserve in sunshine.

Ekuthuleni means "Place of Peace" and this will certainly prove to be a bush home of utter tranquillity and rest.

There are four twin bedrooms that can be converted to king beds if required, and a main lodge consisting of an open plan living room and kitchen with covered patio/deck - with fans throughout.

There is a boma area set under a flat top acacia tree where you can light a fire and chat with friends.

Power is by generator and gas and a housekeeper will come in daily to make beds, clean and wash up.

This is a true bush experience with no outside influences - no television at all. Should guests need Internet or mobile phone connectivity, then "roaming" will need to be organised beforehand.
