Highrocks Beach House has been voted Top Ten Beach House by the Getaway Magazine for both 2014 and 2015 for elegance and affordability. Please note that Highrocks Beach House and House on the Beach are situated next door to each other and in total can accommodate up to 22 adults and 6 - 8 under ten children. For social gatherings and small weddings these 2 houses are ideal.
Highrocks is an easy drive down the South Coast from Durban of approximately 40 minutes. As you enter the property you see the vast ocean before you, the lounge is double volume and the 80 year old eaves are exposed. From there you walk onto the deck and the ocean literally rolls out below you onto the horizon. Hammocks and easy seating will catch you as you relax completely into this wonderful environment.
Highrocks has 2 King sized sea-facing ensuite air/con bedrooms, one queen sized sea-facing ensuite a/c bedroom and a queen a/c bedroom, the final bedroom is a massive 4 bed bunk room with 2 single beds and 2* 3/4 beds with a/c. The living area includes an open plan kitchen, lounge which rolls out onto an undercover deck with another 12 seater dining room table and lounge. There is a 6ft deep plunge pool on the edge of the deck to soothe your worries away.
The view stretches as far as the eye can see out towards the world renowned Aliwal Shoal in the South and north along the many interlocking bays and headlands. The property is on 1/2 an acre and has swings and childrens tree house, access to the beach is along a 100 m cul-de-sac and then you are von Widenham Bay, a pristine fishing bay and bathing beach that has been the best kept secret for years. Highrocks is an upmarket self-catering beach house that sleeps 8 -10 adults and a few children under 10.
