Dreamers Villa @ Bushmans

Dreamers Villa has the rare quality of being a Beach House with a farm like atmosphere and has a real holiday ambience. It has three bedrooms, sharing two and a half bathrooms. The TV Room has a sleeper couch. A fourth large en-suite bedroom is available at an extra fee. The inside and outside braai facilities make for great occasions. An open living space and large dining area offer the opportunity for lengthy chats around the fire place. Dreamers Villa is child friendly with beach toys, boogie boards and games available.

The surrounding area, adjacent to an open place, is spacious with lushes green trees and shrubs and has remained unspoiled. A vlei and a game farm border the property and bring about an abundance of bird life. The occasional hare and deer visit the garden in the early mornings and the partridges like soldiers guard the area. The green and red feathered Knysna Loerie is a joy to watch as it feeds on the fruits of the surrounding trees.

The popular slipway on the river where everyone gathers to swim is a mere 10 minutes’ walk or 3 minutes’ drive away. Participate in tidal swimming, it is absolutely unique. The beaches of Kenton on Sea are a 15 minutes’ drive away, and that of Bushman's only 5 minutes. The Busman's beach makes for easy hiking to Kwaaihoek or Diaz Cross with special scenery for the energetic holiday maker.

Boating on the river takes you 37km inland. The river boarders several game farms giving one the opportunity to spot the odd elephant and other game. There is plenty of space on the river for both fishing and skiing. The restaurants are quaint and some of the popular ones are The Sandbar, Crema, Voila, Rafaela, Mabeni’s and Stanley's farm Restaurant 7 Km out of town. All of them are unique with a special identity and the food is very reasonably priced. A very well stocked shop within 3 minutes away from the house provides all types of food and more for the holiday maker.

Dreamers Villa is a very comfortable house and with the garages leading right into the house it remains a lovely safe place for a family holiday, even if it should rain or be cold!
