After 12 years of running a 4 star guest lodge in Durban, we have swopped our city lodge for a little piece of paradise in the heart of the Midlands.
Burnside is a lovingly restored 1800’s farmhouse. It has 3 queen bedded rooms and 3 bathrooms (2 en suite), and is rented out as a whole. It is fully equipped for self-catering.
There is no internet at this stage, but the cell phone signal is usually good. There is DSTV in the main living room (B&B bouquet) and the property is electric fenced.
The house is serviced daily.
The back boundary of the farm is the historic Zeederberg Coach route, with lovely country views and pretty wild flowers. The front garden has massive old trees and a beautiful view across farmlands and Bosch Hoek golf estate.
The birdlife is amazing, and little buck are permanent residents, hence no dogs are permitted.
Burnside is close to many good restaurants, the Midlands Meander, Nottingham Road, Michaelhouse school and Bosh Hoek golf course.
