Khululeka Backpackers Lodge is located in central Hillcrest, within walking distance (900m) of numerous restaurants, shops and fast-food outlets along Old Main Road.
Although central and conveniently located to the business district, and close to the major highways through Hillcrest, Khululeka Backpackers Lodge is nicely tucked away in a quiet street to ensure a quiet, restful stay.

Ideal for tourists wanting to explore the Valley of 1000 Hills and surrounds; thrifty business travellers; participants and spectators of the numerous sporting events such as the Dusi, Comrades & Amashova; families or a group of friends visiting the Upper Highway area; visitors to the numerous schools in the area; people on transfer requiring temporary accommodation in Hillcrest.

Hillcrest is midway between Durban and Pietermaritzburg - this makes is the ideal spot from which to venture out on day trips to explore the Natal Midlands to the West; Durban and the Golden Mile to the East; the Dolphin Coast to the North and the evergreen South Coast.
