Oyster Bay house is an 8 sleeper holiday home which is only 50 metres from the beach. It has 4 en-suite bedrooms each with a magnificent view of the ocean, bedding supplied-bring own towels, lock-up safe in the main bedroom, a guest toilet, veranda, 2 sun decks, inside braai. Open-plan kitchen, dining room and lounge. Down stairs there is a laundry, maids quarters and a double garage.

The road to Oyster Bay via St Francis is partially tarred, once over the Kromme river turn right to Oyster Bay from here there is a reasonable 18km gravel road to Oyster Bay. An abundance of birdlife is visible including the famous Oyster Catcher pair and their siblings on the beach. Safe bathing in the sea requires earnest discretion. A small general dealer caters for the bare necessities while bulkier supplies are available from Humansdorp, St Francis and Jeffrey's Bay.

Oyster Bay beach has a network of very high dunes and is a delight for the amateur sand boarder. In a westerly direction there are 9kms of unspoilt sandy beaches ideal for long walks or fishing from the sandy coves. To the east the coast is more rocky ideal for diving and fishing off the rocks.
