Ten Stirling Bed and Breakfast offers accommodation in Waverley Johannesburg and is closely situated to Oaklands, Melrose, Norwood, Gardens, Highlands North, Savoy, Birdhaven and Houghton Estate. It is a most convenient location, whether on business or in the city for sport or for leisure.

We also accommodate small sports teams – up to 16 people. Ten Stirling Bed and Breakfast established June 2004, is set in lovely mature gardens, which adds to the experience. We love animals and have dogs and cats on the premises.

We offer good value and hospitable, warm service.

Studio Cottage Downstairs: (Breakfast included)
The downstairs accommodation of this lovely studio cottage, set in beautiful gardens, offers an open plan space, which includes a sleeping area, sitting area,  kitchen and serving island. Slider folder doors open onto a patio overlooking the garden. There are hanging chairs to relax and chill in. It has an en suite bathroom with a shower and compact bath. (Can be booked with upstairs unit – staircase access with door – additional charge applies).

Studio Cottage Upstairs: (Breakfast included)
The upstairs accommodation of this lovely studio cottage, offers a very spacious apartment style room. High ceiling with white rafters. Set under a big Plane Tree in a lovely garden.  It has an en suite bathroom with a shower. (Can be booked with downstairs unit – staircase access with door – additional charge applies).

A little about us...
Ten Stirling Bed and Breakfast, run by David and his very able team is set in lovely mature gardens, has been making guests feel at home since it was established 2004. A hearty breakfast is served between 07h00 and 09h00 weekdays and 08h00 and 10h00 weekends on the terrace overlooking the pool and tennis court in summer and in the dining room in less pleasant weather.

Great Location
You will find us at 10 Stirling street, Waverley, Johannesburg. Only 6 km to Sandton CBD and approx 11 km to the Johannesburg CBD. We are well positioned for access to and from OR Tambo International. There is easy access to and from the M1 and N1 Highways.

We are close to the Gautrain in Rosebank and Sandton and in very close proximity to Melrose Arch, Scott Street and Central Street Houghton businesses. We are also close to Melrose Arch, Rosebank Mall, the Norwood Mall, the Wanderers Stadium and Golf course and the Waverley Shul.

Work or play
We are a great destination for the business traveler. A great stay either overnight or for those coming to consult or train for a longer period. We are also a haven for travellers, tourists or family coming to visit.

Sports teams have also made Ten Stirling their home where they can relax inbetween matches playing some tennis, soothing their muscles in the pool or just chilling in the garden.

Beautiful Garden
One of the most enjoyable experiences about Ten Stirling is that the rooms are situated in a beautiful mature garden setting, where one can really feel relaxed and not confined to a hotel room. We have several hanging swing chairs for you to enjoy.

Parking
There is ample parking available. Secure behind our automated gate. You are welcome to come and go as you please.

Restaurants
There is a lovely selection of different types of restaurants in the area to choose from. You are also welcome to order in.

Pets
Please note: We love animals, and have 3 large, noisy but friendly dogs and an insanely friendly cat. If you are however, not that fond of dogs or cats, we will not be offended if you prefer to not book with us.

General Facilities
We have wifi.
You are welcome to use any of our facilities (but please do so at your own risk): tennis court, swimming pool, trampoline, use of a braai/s and of course our large garden.

In the Area
Wanderers Cricket stadium, Houghton and Wanderers Golf course (and others), various upmarket shopping centres incl Melrose Arch, Rosebank Mall and not too far from Sandton City. There is a selection of great restaurants nearby. The Centre for Advanced Medicine is three minutes away. Nelson Mandela’s home is nearby.
