We have a sunny family home overlooking an open forest and a sports field to the right for the kids to kick a ball. Right next to our house is a little dam, where the little ones can fish.
There is a pool and fire-pit for the summer and an indoor gas fire for the winter, plus access straight from the house to a lovely walking/ cycling trail and onto the field. It is the perfect home for an active or relaxed family holiday.
The whole house is yours, including the private pool, deck with 4 sun-loungers and an additional deck around the fire pit.

We have since re-furbished this home, with unfussy yet classy finishes. It is a beautiful home, and we are always working to improve it (hence renting it out).
It is situated in an extremely secure, beautiful Eco Estate North of Durban with awesome facilities on site for residents ie. Clubhouses with pools, A Pizza restaurant with pools and a put-put course.
An executive golf course at the Simbithi Country club, with a pub, fine dining restaurant, another pool, a gym.
On the sports field a mere 2 minute walk from our home is a volleyball net; rugby posts; cricket net and a little club house with a pool and braai facilities. During peak season Simbithi offers soccer and cricket coaching camps for the kids and activities at various clubhouses.
There are walking, mountain biking and horse riding trails from the dam right by our house which take you into beautiful forests.
We are 10 minutes drive to King Shaka airport; 35 minutes to the stadiums; 5 minutes to stunning beaches and world class surf breaks; great restaurants and nightlife within 5 minutes; awesome mountain bike facilities 10 minutes away; micro-lite airfield 10 mins away; 2 hours south of Big 5 Game Lodges and World Heritage site.....not much more you could ask for.
Even though we recommend a car, our home is walking distance (or a short Uber away) to the new Ballito Junction Mall with its world class facilities including a VIP movie theatre. Excellent shops and many good restaurants.
Across the road from this center is The Ballito Lifestyle centre, with its much praised “Market” Here, the choices of restaurants, international cuisine, along with live music is endless.
It is best to hire a car at the airport. There is space to park 2 cars in the driveway.
