San Lameer is a highly acclaimed golf estate on the South Coast of KwaZulu-Natal. Once you drive through the gates, you will immediately be amazed by the beauty of the estate. The entire property has been declared a nature reserve with an abundance of indigenous flora and fauna. The streams and lakes have been carefully designed to meander throughout the estate between the villas and golf course. There are a few species of buck that roam freely and a large amount of bird life with over 200 hundred recorded species on the estate.
This is a free standing villa close to the lagoon and in walking distance to the beach and hotel. It is tiled throughout and has an open plan kitchen, dining room and lounge. Large sliders open onto a covered patio with a built in braai and Weber.
The villa has two bedrooms and a semi-enclosed loft. The main bathroom has a queen size bed with an en-suite bathroom (bath and shower combo). The upstairs bedroom and loft have twin beds that can also be made into king size beds. There is an upstairs bathroom with a shower.
The unit is fully equipped including linen and towels, except for beach towels. There is a combo washing machine/dryer, microwave and fridge/freezer in the kitchen.
The villa has satellite as well as a DVD player. It is fully air conditioned and serviced daily. Please note that no smoking is permitted in the villa.
San Lameer is situated on a "Blue Flag" beach. Other facilities include an 18-hole championship golf course, squash courts, tennis courts, bowling green, two swimming pools, nine hole mashie golf course (Golf cart available for rental), nature walking trail, play park, canoes, superette, library, restaurant and bar.
Avis car rental has a drop off and collection service to San Lameer. The closest airport (15km north) is Margate Airport and Durban International is about 140km north. Wild Coast Casino is a short 10 minute drive south of the estate. For the children, there is a popular Crocodile Farm and the infamous Waffle House just around the corner.
