Summer Place

Umzumbe is located on the Kwazulu Natal South Coast, Port Shepstone. It is known as the best kept secret of the Hibuscus Coast.

Directly on the beach is Summerplace, which consists of 4 luxury self catering cottages. There is good security and ample parking. Staff for your convenience can be arranged, but all other amenities are located on the property. There are several golf courses in the area and for those who love a beach and family holiday, this is ideal. The beach is protected by shark nets and there are lifeguards on duty throughout the year. The sea pool is a huge favourite with the younger generation. All units have air conditioning systems.

Cottages:

"Lookout" cottage can sleep 10 guests for example  5 adults and 5 children. It has three bathrooms, dining room, lounge, kitchen, scullery and its own private deck and gate onto the beach.

Then there is "Honeymoon" cottage which sleeps 4 guests, either 2 couples or a family. It has a modern bathroom, lovely kitchen with modern fittings and a big lounge area. Huge sliding doors makes your accessibility to the beach even easier.

"Big Brother" cottage is not what the name implies. It should be little brother as it sleeps 2 adults comfortably and has a sleeper couch. It is ultra modern with the same accessibility to the beach and view as the other units.

"Umzumbe beach. All cottages have air conditioned. For those who know Umzumbe beach, it is a holiday of a lifetime. A real good time for the family to be together and families return year after year for the same experience. Umzumbe is still one of the secluded South Coast beaches - a true hidden gem for the traveller.
