Lazydays

"Lazydays" self catering house and flatlet is situated in the idyllic, coastal village of Nature's Valley and is surrounded by the Tsistikamma National Park and the warm Indian Ocean. The unique combination of sea, lagoon, forest, fynbos and mountains makes Nature's Valley the perfect getaway destination. You can use Nature's Valley as a gateway to the Garden Route or simply a place to enjoy long, lazy days in the sun. Experience the tranquility of the Valley as you relax in a comfortable, homely, wooden cottage set in a lush, walled, indigenous garden. The cottage is ideally located in a quiet street, approximately 200m from both the lagoon and the sea, and adjacent to the Phyl Martin Nature Park.

Lazydays is arguably one of the most popular self-catering houses in the Valley. Besides being a beautifully kept, modern home, it is also pet-friendly, has free WIFI.

The house consists of a main house and a separate, fully enclosed self-enclosed flatlet. We now have solar panels and an inverter system.

The main house has 3 bedrooms and sleeps 6 people. The main bedroom is furnished with a queen-sized bed and has a television; the second bedroom has a double bed, while the third bedroom has 2 single beds.  All beds have electric blankets for winter and extra blankets are also provided.

The comfortable lounge has an indoor fireplace, a SMART television with DSTV, Netflix, Showmax etc. Free Wifi and an inverter ensure connectivity. The well equipped kitchen includes a glass-top stove, dishwasher, microwave, Nescafe Dulce coffee machine and usual appliances, while the scullery offers a washing machine and tumble drier. A 2 plate gas stove is available should there be a power outage.

The main bathroom has a shower and a bath, while the 2nd bathroom offers an additional toilet and shower.

The open plan living area leads out to a large deck, with a large dining table and a built-in braai. Guests are also welcome to use the Weber or sit in the backyard around a large round braai or firepit.

Wheelchair and pram access is provided for with a paved driveway, walkway and wheelchair ramp. The exterior and interior doors are suitable for wheelchair access.

The large enclosed indigenous garden is fully enclosed for pets and children and there is adequate parking on site.

The new edition to Lazy Days is a fully enclosed self-contained flatlet, which can be booked at an additional rate for guests hiring the main house. It is not available to rent on its own.  The flat-let consists of a lounge with Smart Tv, a stunning kitchenette, a separate bedroom with queen-sized bed and a bathroom consisting of a shower and toilet.  French doors from the bedroom lead out to a pretty garden, while the lounge French doors lead out to a patio with a seating area and braai. The garden is also fully enclosed. Guests looking to book this flat-let with the main house must enquire about the additional rates.

Linen and bath towels are provided. We also offer the use of the canoe, kayak and other beach equipment.

Nature's Valley offers activities such as swimming, canoeing, kayaking, hiking, cycling, birding, fishing, whale watching and bungee jumping. There is a good restaurant and shop, open 364 days, 2km away. Internet facilities are available at the shop. Birds of Eden, Monkeyland, Tenikwa (big cat reserve), the Reptile sanctuary, the Elephant sanctuary and Bungee jumping are all within 20km. Knysna 60km away.
