Kaapsehoop or Kaapschehoop is a town in the Mpumalanga province (formerly Eastern Transvaal) of South Africa. It is situated about 25 km from Nelspruit. Kaapsehoop is known for its wild horses. There are estimated 150-180 wild horses. These horses are remnants of the gold mining days, the Boer wars and the early cattle farmers.

Perrys Bridge Brewery

Bars in Hazyview (81.5 km from Marloth Park Conservancy) When the summer heat of the Lowveld gets intense, Perry's Bridge Brewery is an awesome spot to visit to quench your thirst. With their own selection of beers on tap as well as a good selection of imports, it is the ideal place to relax with friends. For non-beer drinkers there is a range of wines and also a mouth-watering menu.

The Elephant Sanctuary

The Elephant Sanctuary is situated in the Lowveld on a 600 hectare reserve that is home to two African elephants: Kasper "the gentle giant" is a stunningly huge 3.3m tall male who was hand-reared on a farm in Namibia; Kitso is an adventurous and playful 10-year old elephant, just like his human counterparts! The main focus of The Elephant Sanctuary is to educate people about all aspects of elephants and elephant husbandry. If we discuss the elephant's ear, for example, you will get the opportunity to actually touch one and to get a closer look at the smoothness of the skin on the back of the ear compared to the rough skin on the outside. We also offer a short elephant-back ride - a privilege historically reserved for kings.

"Experience the thrill of Mpumalanga's longest Aerial Cable Trail" Experience the freedom of gliding over one of the last remaining natural forested valleys along the Sabie River adjacent to the Kruger National Park. The aerial cable trail takes you down into the valley basin, stopping along the way on a number of elevated platforms to admire the natural vegetation, birdlife and the views of the forest floor below Each section of the trail varies in length from 70 to 230 meters linking a total of 10 platforms, making the total length of the trail 1.2km. The trail has been designed and built to South African civil engineering standards and all the equipment has been designed specifically for this activity and tried and tested worldwide. All groups are escorted by qualified guides.
