Situated on Puschka a certified organic farm about 30kms from the small town of Magaliesburg, this cottage or house is a haven for anyone wanting to "get away from it all".
The farm is about 130 hectares in area & is in a valley of the Witwatersrand mountain range; these low hills forming what are commonly referred to as the 'foothills' of the Magaliesburg range. Most of the farm is indigenous bush which supports abundant bird life as well as small game - nightly you can hear the cry of the jackal!
A perennial stream (known as the Hex River) wanders through the farm, the glades on the treed river banks providing cool picnic spots or refreshing resting places for the more energetic who are tired from one of the longer walks or hikes available on the farm.
The farm supports a small herd of 'indigenous' Nguni cattle as well as Damara sheep & chickens. There are even a few ostriches.
