Imvubu Lodge at Royal Jozini

Self Catering House, Cottage, Chalet Accommodation in Lavumisa

On the edge of Lake Jozini, Imvubu (named because a hippo used to sleep at the lodge site) has five spacious air-conditioned, en-suite bedrooms. Four have queen size beds and one room has bunk beds. All en-suites have a bath and outside shower and the bedrooms are connected by a raised timber walkway which is lit at night. There is covered parking for three cars.

A rim flow pool and deck off the bar, with an ice machine, are popular places on warmer days - and activated charcoal filters ensure the ice and the water are perfect in the whiskey. The kitchen boasts a Lacanche gas /electric stove, there is ample fridge space and a stand up freezer. The lodge has a TV lounge with DSTV on request and a DVD player, as well as limited Wi-Fi for those that need to stay "connected" (50 megs per day free of charge).

The lounge has a gas fireplace for cool winter evenings and the lodge is fully serviced by two staff. Relax on the covered veranda and watch the sun set across the water.

Mountain bikes are available for the energetic at no extra charge.

At night the boma is the place to relax with friends and family and all wood is supplied. There is a Weber with rotisserie if required but please remember to bring your own briquettes.
